The Nintendo Switch has generated a lot of interest since its official unveiling. A lot of focus is on the features of the console itself yet what about the games? Because a console is only as good as the games you can play on it. The Switch has a lot of third party support yet what about Nintendo’s offerings? It turns out we might be seeing Mario Galaxy 3 on the big N’s newest offering.

First of all, there is no official confirmation of this yet. However, this info comes from the IMDb page of Charles Martinet. The name may seem familiar to you while his voice definitely will. Charles is the voice actor for Mario and also his lanky brother Luigi. All of those high pitched Italian exclamations come from this guy. Due to a recent update of his IMDb page, we have this little tidbit.

Look Super Mario Galaxy 3!
‘It’s a me, Mario…’s voice actor.’

Those of you who can read (so, all of you) can see Mario Galaxy 3 listed as being in post-production. Furthermore, eagle-eyed readers can also see Super Mario Sunshine HD listed. For those of you who skipped the Gamecube, Sunshine was that console’s Mario offering. While on holiday Mario had to use the water spraying FLUDD to take on Bowser. As much as the story sounds weird, it was a solid offering.

Therefore this brings us back to the Switch. Nintendo’s innovation gamble launches next year. Furthermore, the Wii U has ceased production. While Nintendo isn’t ending Wii U support just yet, it’s looking likely that Galaxy 3 and Sunshine are Switch titles. Mario Galaxy 3, in particular, looks like a Switch launch title.
