It’s here! The moment Marvel fans have dreaded and dreamed about since the Decimation event in Avengers Infinity War. The trailer and title for Avengers: Endgame is out!
It begins with Tony Stark aboard a derelict spaceship leaving a message to his future wife Pepper Potts. Then we get the Marvel Studios logo vanishing in the familiar Thanos snap event.
The trailer shows off the Mad Titans armor set out like a scarecrow watching over a lonely field. We get our first look at Scott Lang and Hawkeye sporting a new look with a sword. It also includes Thor, Black Widow, Captain America, Nebula, and Bruce Banner.
It’s a stunning yet somber look at the Marvel Universe after Thanos wiped out half of all living things.
The one thing the trailer does not feature is Captain Marvel. However, that could be because she just got her own trailer a few days ago. Her film releases a month before Endgame on March 8th.
As with all Marvel things, there is some comedic timing within the sad overtones of the trailer. You’ll have to watch it for yourself to get a feel for what to expect from Endgame.
The Russo Brothers tweeted their own remarks on the release of the trailer saying,
For those who have been here since the beginning. For those who have joined along the way. For the best fans in the Universe. This trailer is for you… With much love and gratitude for your patience, The RB’s.”

Marvel Entertainment also released the official poster for the movie.
The tagline for Avengers: Endgame is simply “Part of the journey is the end.” It sounds as if the Avengers have a plan to stop Thanos or perhaps undo the Decimation. Fans will have to wait another few months. Avengers: Endgame releases in theaters April 26th, 2019.
