Marvel is making a big comeback to San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) this year, just like DC Comics. The comic publisher has released a peek at the panels, announcements, talent signings, and experiences lined up for the convention. The official Marvel Booth of SDCC will offer fans a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It features exclusive signings, giveaways, convention-exclusive merchandise, and more. Plus, Marvel will host an exclusive live stream broadcast of the Marvel Booth. This gives fans at home the chance to experience all that this year’s con has to offer.

Marvel SDCC July 20-21
Marvel’s SDCC experience kicks off on Thursday, July 20, with two exclusive panels. The first is “Designing the X-Men: A This Week In Marvel Special Event.” VP and Creative Executive Ryan Penagos hosts a live version of the “This Week In Marvel” podcast. Editors Jordan D. White and Sarah Brunstad join him. Plus, graphic designer Tom Muller, artist Joshua Cassara, and more. They will discuss Krakoa and what to expect with the looming Fall of X.
Then, the “Marvel and Proko Teach “The Art of Storytelling” panel helps aspiring storytellers. Industry veterans share their experience and expertise in creating compelling stories, developing interesting characters, and mastering visual storytelling.
Friday, July 21, features the “Marvel: Heroes, Hulks, and Super-Soldiers” panel. Marvel Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski leads the panel that features Marvel’s solo Super Hero series. This includes Captain America, Moon Knight, the Hulk, and to-be-announced heroes. Then, the “Marvel Fanfare with C.B. Cebulski” panel features past and present Marvel Editors-in-Chiefs. Together, they discuss everything you could want to know about Marvel. Finally, the “Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game Live Play with Glass Cannon Network” closes out the day.
Lineup July 22-23
Saturday, July 22, brings the “Marvel: Next Big Thing” panel to San Diego Comic Con. This is the big one that gets you shocking announcements about the future of the Marvel Universe. It features news on Spider-Man, the Guardians of the Galaxy, their Grootfall problem, and Jonathan Hickman’s new Ultimate Universe.
Finally, Sunday, July 23, closes out Marvel’s SDCC with a “Women of Marvel” panel. This panel features Editor Sarah Brunstad, Executive Producer Sana Amanat, VP of Digital Media Marketing Jessica Malloy, Charlie Jane Anders, Jody Houser, and more!
