We’ve all had rough days, but taking it out on others solves nothing, if not creates more problems. An Amazon delivery driver, seemingly fed up with the job, carelessly tosses a customer’s package onto his front porch in Massachusetts. The parcel contained a fragile vase, and, needless to say, the impact smashed the item into pieces. Luckily, the homeowner caught the Amazon driver in the act with a recording from his front entrance’s security camera.
Uploaded to TikTok, the video shows the Amazon worker approaching the Massachusetts home’s front porch after parking in the driveway. But instead of walking up the steps and placing the package down, he throws the vase in frustration near the entrance before taking a photo of his ‘successful delivery.’ The box even makes a loud thud when it hits the wooden walkway. Fortunately, “The package was replaced by the distributor without any issue,” according to ABC7.
The Massachusetts homeowner did have a sense of humor and initially uploaded a video showing viewers the “soothing sounds of [his] new rainstick” as he turned the box with the broken vase up and down, shuffling about the shattered contents within. As you might expect, plenty of online users are calling for the Amazon driver to be fired as they wonder why he’s even working in the first place if he dislikes his position so much. “People like this should be held accountable,” remarks a top commenter, complaining how the video had the delivery man’s face blurred out for some reason.
“Amazon drivers acting like their job is so hard 💔” quips another. “[Are] They mad because they have to do their job?” adds in a third. “That rain stick sounds like termination of employment,” jokes a fourth. That all said, hopefully, the worker did lose his position or was punished at the very least. We all have bad days, but that gives no one any reason to smash up other people’s property. After all, the Amazon man probably wouldn’t want someone breaking his stuff if he could help it.
