You may not have known this, but it isn’t easy to make a Karen happy. By the time you’ve tried, they’ve already made up their mind that they’re going to try to destroy your entire day. This is what happened when a Massachusetts man was confronted by a Karen and her husband at a business. The reason? His truck broke down, and he wasn’t able to move it. But when a Karen says move, you apparently have no choice in the matter!
Thomas (@thedopebruno1117) posted a video after he was approached by a Karen/husband duo in a parking lot. He was already having a bad day because his semi-truck broke down. Thomas started recording after the husband had already yelled at him for not being able to move his truck. That’s when the Karen decided she was going to step in and confront Thomas, too, over something he couldn’t change. As Thomas waited for a tow truck, the two decided to harass him and curse at him.
After constant berating, Thomas proclaims, “Don’t yell at me like I’m your son, bro.” He tells them, “You came up to me aggressively and invaded my personal space.” As Thomas and the husband yell back and forth, Karen gets in between them, hands up, and yells, “STOP!” at the top of her lungs. She keeps yelling at Thomas as he explains, “I don’t argue with women.” The Karen’s husband doesn’t like this. He tells Thomas, “You’re gonna talk to the boss ‘cause she is the boss.”
Karen reminds Thomas that he’s been in the parking lot “since 12:45” and he tells them yet again that his truck broke down. She continues, “You were told to get somebody here” even though he’s waiting for the tow truck to arrive. What more do these people want from him? The Karen tells him he needs to move, but he explains, for probably the 10th time, that he can’t move a broken-down truck. This Karen and her husband are virtually oblivious to how the world works.
One commenter said, “Truck doesn’t work. ‘Move the truck.’ Miraculously, with their direction, the truck still doesn’t work.” Another pointed out, “It’s not like a Kia broke down the pump. It’s an 18 wheeler. What do they want that man to do?” The problem is, far too many people don’t understand that a little kindness can go a long way. What harm was he doing by waiting for the tow truck? They could’ve recognized when to leave well enough alone.
