Massachusetts Mom Stunned by Scandalous Swimsuit Made for 6-Month-Old Baby: ‘Why Does It Even Exist?’

This is definitely not appropriate

A lot of parents can agree that it is always better to make sure their kids’ clothes cover them appropriately. After all, there are a lot of predators out there. Companies should keep this in mind when manufacturing clothes for babies. A Massachusetts mom, however, was left stunned by a swimsuit that was gifted to her daughter. She shared how her daughter is four months old and received a swimsuit that is made for 6-to-12-month-old girls. Before showing the gift, the mom showed another swimsuit that she bought for her daughter. That one was made for girls from 6-to-9 months old. This swimsuit was definitely suitable for babies since it covers everything. On the other hand, the gifted swimsuit isn’t suitable at all.

For context, this was gifted to us and it’s a size 6month-12month infant girls swimsuit. My daughter is four months and we tried it on her because it was still a gift but it didn’t cover anything and it was far too tight. Thank you to @RuffleButts for coming to the rescue. This suit was incredibly high quality and cute. #momlife #girls #swimsuit #insane #notokay

The Massachusetts mom showed how the other swimsuit was a two-piece one. She didn’t have a problem with it being two pieces. Her problem was that it was too tight for any girl. It showed things that aren’t supposed to be shown. “This is insane,” she said as she filmed it. It was clear that the swimsuit looked too small. Since some people saw nothing wrong with the swimsuit, the mom demonstrated how it looked. “It is insane that anybody thinks that this is not an issue,” she started saying in another video. In that new video, she brought a bear that represented the size of her baby.

The mom placed a diaper on the bear and then placed the tiny swimsuit on top. A large portion of the diaper was shown which meant that the swimsuit won’t cover anything. She also said that her daughter’s thighs spilled out when she wore it. “It shows things that it’s not supposed to show,” she said and she does have a point. She then compared it to the swimsuit they bought, which fits her daughter and covers everything. It’s safe to say that the gifted swimsuit is scandalous. Of course, children shouldn’t be sexualized, but there are a lot of predators out there. Companies and parents should keep this in mind and protect babies.

People Reacting to the Massachusetts Mom’s Video

People were shocked once they saw the Massachusetts mom’s video. A lot could agree that the swimsuit wasn’t appropriate at all. “Why does it even exist?” one person asked. This made another person reply and say, “For Epstein file people and Hollywood pizza parties. That’s prob why they are being made. Rich and powerful is asking for them.” One woman then said, “I am horrified by those who do actually buy these.” Someone else believed that companies shouldn’t even make such a swimsuit for babies. “Who tf made that… immediate jail,” they wrote. An adult then shared that their swimsuits look better than this one. “My bathing suits aren’t even that revealing…,” they said.

There was an Australian person who commented under the Massachusetts mom’s video believing that nothing was wrong with the swimsuit. “Is it jst me that doesn’t think that’s bad?” they asked. Others didn’t agree as one person said, “No one’s talking about it being a bikini, it’s the fact it’s so tiny, no toddler needs their bottoms hanging out.” Another Australian shared their opinion and wrote, “I’m Aussie and that width of the flap trap wouldn’t even be big enough to cover either of my daughter’s nethers. That’s insane.” Someone who works at a store shared their own experience too, as they said, “I work at a resale store that mainly sells kids clothes and I was given a string bikini meant for 9-12mo. We didn’t even hang it up, just threw it in the back.” This is the only right reaction.
