After a series of setbacks involving the Homebase Program and surging energy bills, Republicans have pivoted their ire toward this $3.5 billion economic package. Some argue the bill ignores the state’s crumbling infrastructure in favor of subsidizing tech firms to bypass national trade regulations set by President Trump. Her latest attempt at festive humor and consistent pandering at local events only angers them further, as they call for her to get voted out come this midterm.
