Matthew Perry‘s loved ones and fans are getting closer to finding some closure over his painful death. Almost a year after the Friends actor mysteriously drowned in his hot tub due to ketamine consumption, those connected to the case have been taken into custody. Authorities have made major arrests following investigations into how Perry got the ketamine that caused him to lose consciousness.
TMZ reports that multiple law enforcement agencies executed search warrants to get to the bottom of the issue. They seized computers, phones, and other electronic equipment to determine who supplied the late with the ketamine. One doctor was arrested alongside some drug dealers. Their identities, however, haven’t been revealed. Per sources, the search warrant unveiled a text discussion between the suspects where they talked about the price Perry wanted to pay for Ketamine. It seems this was the information used to trace the culprits.
The late actor, who struggled with addiction while alive, was undergoing ketamine infusion therapy for anxiety and depression. However, he had his last session one and a half weeks before his death. The ketamine found in his system when he died was not at all doctor-prescribed, leading authorities to get involved.
What Is Brooke Mueller’s Role in Matthew Perry’s Death?
Although actress Brooke Mueller was named as a person of interest, she wasn’t taken into custody alongside the other suspects. A search warrant was reportedly executed for Charlie Sheen’s ex, but the discoveries made didn’t connect her directly to the case. Mueller was previously highlighted because she was in the same treatment center as Perry. There are reports that they dated.
