With less than a week remaining in April, PlayStation gamers started to speculate what the May 2020 PlayStation Plus offers might be. Earlier this month, Sony announced a Stay-at-home Initiative that gave Playstation gamers two free games; the two free games that have been provided are Nathan Drake: The Uncharted Collection and Journey. These two titles will be free from April 15th until May 5th. The April 202o PlayStation Plus offers gave players Uncharted 4 and Dirt Rally 2.0. With May quickly approaching PlayStation Plus members started to speculate what the May 2020 PlayStation Plus offers might be. Today, we finally have the answer about next month’s PS+ offer.

Yesterday, we covered The Last of Us 2 leaks; while today, we are excited to cover the official announcement regarding The Last of Us 2 and Ghost of Tsushima release dates. May 2020’s PlayStation Plus offer will have players diving deep into two different RPG worlds. While a majority of the world is still in quarantine, many are looking for brand new adventures. Now, these two RPGs will consume hours of the players’ time. May 2020’s PlayStation Plus offers are Dying Light and Dark Souls Remastered; both of these titles take over fifteen hours to complete.

Warning, if you are considering playing either of these two titles, may we recommend starting with Dying Light? It is definitely less stressful than Dark Souls Remastered. Interestingly, Dying Light 2 was scheduled to be released in May of 2020 but was delayed indefinitely. This announcement was made at the beginning of 2020 and left a hole in the 2020 release schedule. If you would like to learn more about Dying Light 2 you can click here.

Game Benefits

Dark Souls Remasted is definitely a vast improvement compared to the original game. With updated graphics and quicker loading times, the ashen one will have an easier time fighting off enemies. The game offers a variety of play styles, however, you will have to navigate on your own or with the help of a guide. Dying Light offers players the opportunity to experience different worlds based on their choices. Set in a zombie apocalypse, how will you survive?

Update: (May 1st, 2020)

Since the publication of this article, Sony has revealed the actual PlayStation Plus offer for May 2020. We will be publishing the correct offer shortly.
