Media Molecule, the studio behind such favorites as LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway, came onto Sony’s conference stage to show off a brand new IP, Dreams. This new game will let you quite literally create anything you want. The game lets players sketch using the dualshock’s touchpad to create watercolor and clay dreams that can be animated. These dreams can be shared with other players and edited by them as well. These all contribute to what Media Molecule calls the ‘Dreamiverse.’

There weren’t a lot of details concerning the game as there were only a couple of minutes available for demonstration. The trailer shown showed worlds ranging from underwater dreamscapes to futuristic cities. The clay looks almost real and the watercolors contribute to what promises to be a truly fascinating and beautiful experience. Dreams is a Playstation 4 exclusive.
