Like any modern AAA game, we can expect action, a cinematic story, and talented actors from various backgrounds. Insomniac has delivered this with the voice actors of Spider-Man 2, with cast members returning and some new people to lend their voices to iconic characters. By combining the circles of Peter Parker and Miles Morales, we will get a more diverse cast than ever before of supporting characters and villains.
Who are the Spider-Man 2 voice actors? Cast Break Down
While there are many actors, we will cover the main cast of Spider-Man 2. Here is a quick rundown before we get deep into their careers:
- Yuri Lowenthal – Peter Parker/Spider-Man
- Nadji Jeter – Miles Morales/Spider-Man
- Laura Bailey – Mary Jane Watson
- Graham Phillips – Harry Osborn
- Tony Todd – Venom
- Jim Pirri – Kraven the Hunter
- Mark Whitten – Dr. Connors/Lizard
- Mark Rolston – Norman Osborn
8. Yuri Lowenthal as Peter Parker/ Spider-Man
Yuri Lowenthal returns as Peter Parker, who starred as the character in the first mainline Insomniac game and then made a cameo in Miles’ standalone game. He has also reprised the character in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Midnight Suns, bringing his interpretation to both another game and the big screen. His non-gaming credits include Camp Camp, Boruto: Naruto’s Next Generation, and RWBY.
7. Nadji Jeter as Miles Morales/Spider-Man
While previously a supporting character and the protagonist of a shorter standalone title, Nadji Jeter gets to co-headline one of the main entries with Spider-Man 2. He has reprised the role for other universes. Those include an animated series from 2017 to 2020 and Marvel’s Ultimate Alliance 3. For other roles, he was Sam in The Last of Us and the Adam Sandler-leading movies Grown Ups and Grown Ups 2.
6. Laura Bailey as Mary Jane Watson
Peter’s old girlfriend and now supporter in superhero adventures, even if unwanted due to the danger, is Laura Bailey as Mary Jane Watson, also known as M.J. The star barely needs any introduction, but in case you are unaware, she is one of the biggest names in the game (both figuratively and literally). Her memorable roles include M.J., which she played in the 2018 game; Abby in The Last of Us Part 2, a member in Critical Role; Kait Diaz in Gears 5; and Nadine Ross in Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy.
5. Graham Phillips as Harry Osborn
We got recordings of him for side activities in the 2018 game, but coming into the cast as one of the supporting voice actors in Spider-Man 2 is Graham Phillips as Harry Osborn. He is largely a TV star who has had roles in various popular shows. You may have seen him in Riverdale, The Good Wife, and Atypical. He also appeared in the Netflix film Yes Day with Jennifer Garner and Jenna Ortega.
4. Tony Todd as Venom
For new characters entering Insomniac’s universe, we get Tony Todd as our Venom. It is fitting for his standout voice and his legendary status as a horror icon from his as The Candyman. If you want to dig into his career from TV to video games to movies, he has been in the Candyman films, The Flash CW series, Dota: Dragon’s Blood, Back 4 Blood, and 1994’s The Crow.
3. Jim Pirri – Kraven the Hunter
One of the main antagonists of the Spider-Man 2 cast is Kraven the Hunter. Jim Pirri brings the character to life due to his extensive career. It makes for an understandable build-up as he largely plays supporting and often no-named characters, but now he becomes one of the big baddies in Spider-Man. He played various characters in games like Diablo 4, God of War: Ragnarok, and Days Gone. For movies, he has appeared in Batman: The Long Halloween and Luca.
2. Mark Whitten as Dr. Connors/Lizard
Like its previous games, Spider-Man 2 will have an impressive roster of voice actors to fill up Peter and Miles’ cast of villains. Mark Whitten will be chomping away at New York as the souped-up Lizard. He is usually a wide net of additional voices to fill up a game’s world, but nonetheless, he has been in some of the biggest releases in recent years. Some games you may have heard him include Diablo 4, Fallout 76, Demon’s Souls, and God of War: Ragnarok.
1. Mark Rolston as Norman Osborn
Returning to the role of Norman Osborn in the cast of Spider-Man 2 is Mark Rolston. He is a veteran actor in movies with some experience in games. In gaming, he has been in The Division 2, Fallout 4, and Batman: Arkham Knight. He has been in beloved movies that will go down in history as all-timers, like Aliens, The Departed, and Shawshank Redemption.
Spider-Man 2 is available on PS5.
