Prince Harry is set to celebrate his 40th birthday on September 15. While it was previously revealed that he would be spending the milestone birthday with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children, it seems that plans have changed. Sources claim that the Duke of Sussex is now heading out on a boys’ trip. He’ll now spend his special day celebrating with his friends. Of course, fans smell something suspicious.
According to The Daily Mail, Meghan Markle is allegedly worried that Prince Harry and his friends will hit up Las Vegas. Harry has a controversial past in Vegas. In 2012 he was photographed partying hard with friends in Sin City. The photos caused quite a stir for the royal family.
However, this time around, fans are more interested in the fact that Harry opted not to spend his birthday weekend with Meghan. Especially after it was reported that she had previously put her foot down about him going on a boys trip to celebrate.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Going Their Separate Ways?
“He might be going without her, but she’ll still be there somehow, in spirit and electronically. Meghan can’t allow him to have free time on his hands. He might start thinking for himself,” one person commented.
“Come on, we all know Harry isn’t allowed friends. Markle will perhaps allow him to go out with some of her connections. But under strict instructions to plug her for voiceovers or some such,” another stated.
“No chance. He won’t be getting away from her. She’ll demand he keeps the phone line open so she can see what he’s doing,” said a third critic.
“So Harry ditches Meghan and the kids for his birthday, that’s not surprising,” a fourth comment read.
Meanwhile, Royal biographer Angela Levin tells The Sun that Prince Harry seems obviously unhappy when it comes to his life in the US. She also claims that Meghan Markle treats the ousted royal poorly.
“You could say Harry is not even the spare to his wife. He’s almost nothing,” Levin told the outlet. “She treats him horrendously. If you look at the filming of them in Colombia and Africa, he is not asked anything. He’s pushed out of the way.”
Levin went on to say that Harry is looking for a way back into the royal family. In addition, he may be using his old friends to help him. Could this be why he’s so keen on leaving Meghan behind during his birthday trip?
“I was completely and utterly astonished to learn that Harry is trying to call in his old friends to help him get back within his own family,” the author quipped.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship is often the target of online gossip and drama. However, it does seem a bit strange that the royal wouldn’t want to spend the milestone birthday with his wife and children if all is well at home.
