Closer Online reports that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle didn’t receive an invitation to spend the holidays in the UK with the royal family. This is no surprise since the Sussexes have had bad blood with the royals for several years now. However, the family was invited to spend Christmas with Princess Diana’s family, The Spencers, but turned down the invite.
Instead, because they’re worried this could be their last Christmas in the United States for a while, they’re focused on spending it with Markle’s mother, Doria.
“This could be their last Christmas at home, so they will spend it together this year to make it extra special. Meghan’s mom Doria will join them at home in Montecito and they’ll ensure the children have a joyful day, despite not being around extended family,” an insider revealed.

In addition, Meghan and Harry are in agreement that they don’t want to return to the UK with their children due to safety concerns. Although once the security issues are eventually sorted out, Harry is said to be ready to go home. Meanwhile, Meghan is reportedly oppossed to ever returning to her husband’s home country.
“The Sussexes are genuinely concerned. They can’t safely visit the UK due to security concerns and now face the risk of being removed from America, which is an unsettling prospect for their family. It’s quite sad, as they’re running out of options on where to settle,” said the source.
All the while, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are combating rumors that they’ve been going through a separation. Divorce speculation has been running wild, and fans are wondering if this might be the couple’s last Christmas together period.
