Meghan Markle‘s dad, Thomas Markle, has been the talk of the town since his recent hospitalization, which resulted in his leg being amputated. And now, the media is in a ruckus over claims and rumors that Meghan contacted or didn’t contact her dad during his health hardship, or whether she’s using him as a PR stunt for more publicity. The two have been at odds for years, so chitchat about whether the bad blood still exists between the two is all the rage now. And now Samantha Markle, Meghan’s sister, has joined the fray to reveal the “real” reason her dad’s leg was amputated.
Samantha Markle made an X post claiming that the reason dangerous blood clots formed in Thomas’ leg was because he was “doubly vaccinated and boosted.” She continued, saying that “Those long clots are consistent with all of the data that was coming out after pandemic vaccine madness.” She completed her spiel, stating that she would never imagine getting vaccinated, even if her own life was on the line. Truly, she’d make a good pal with RFK Jr.
Anti-Vax Behavior Is One Reason Meghan Markle Wants Nothing to Do with Samantha, Reddit Says
While Samantha is definitely not on the same level of fame, or infamy, as her sister, Meghan Markle, many online users are pointing out why her view on vaccinations is likely one of many reasons Meghan cut ties with her family. “Meghan’s paternal family is so toxic. I’m not really her fan, but she is treated so badly sometimes that I can’t help but sympathize with her,” remarks one Redditor. “Not the biggest Meghan fan but I trust she cut these people off for good reason,” echoed another commenter. “Correlation is not causation which is something this anti vaxx idiots never understand,” exclaimed a third.
Some people noted that Samantha was using her father’s amputation just as a means to push the anti-vaccination narrative. But Samantha’s irrational reasoning aside, Thomas Markle is 81 years old, an age during which many people can form blood clots. There’s very little chance failing health would be correlated with the Covid vaccine, if not, none at all.
Whatever the case, it’s clear that both Samantha and Meghan are using this time to fish for some sort of drama or publicity with the media. Meghan’s PR team is allegedly feeding outlets various things about her activity, whereas Samantha is taking a shot at her sister, cussing her out on X, among other insults. Thomas Markle is a saint himself, but it’s unfortunate that during one of the roughest episodes of his life, his children are using him as a pawn for their schemes.
Meghan’s husband, Prince Harry, isn’t much better in the “ideal son department” as he, too, has used his father King Charles’ health as free PR.
