This was not well thought out

In the age of technology and security cameras, it’s hard to get away with anything, whether malicious or an innocent prank. Nearly gone are the days when kids, and sometimes adults, played games like Ding Dong Ditch. However, two South Carolina guys who seemed to be young at heart decided to relive the silly childhood prank and knock on a random house’s door. Although they may have forgotten to pay attention to their surroundings.

Of course, the two South Carolina men were likely aware of the Ring camera that was filming them as they knocked on the door of an unsuspecting house. They were being goofy and silly the entire time. It was actually pretty funny to watch. However, they obviously weren’t paying attention to what was going on around them, because the residents of the house were actually sitting on their porch and had a front row seat to the hilarious show.

“Please enjoy the ring camera footage of these men ding dong ditching us while my roommate and her friends were literally on the porch,” the South Carolina resident of the home captioned the funny video.

In the clip, which has over 2 million views, the two men are obviously having a great time. It’s unclear whether they knew the people who live in the home, or if they picked the house at random. However, the footage is priceless.

Even the internet loved it. In a time when there are so many fight videos, crazy Karen meltdowns, and political rants, this was a video that most people could get behind and really laugh at.

“This is gold,” one social media user said. “If I were him and saw this on my fyp I’d die from embarrassment,” another said. “I can’t stop laughing omg this is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen,” a second person declared. “Him screaming when he realized you guys were on the porch😂,” a third comment read. “Simply for the love of the game. Wonderful,” joked a fourth TikTok user. “How did they not notice?! 😂 Must’ve been very drunk lmao! It’s so adorable though,” another wondered.

This may have been a harmless prank, and it didn’t appear that the people who live at the South Carolina house were upset by it. Perhaps they knew the men who came knocking at their door. Either way, it definitely gave the internet something to laugh about.
