It seems Konami went back to the drawing board ever since Kojima was canned from the Metal Gear Series. Metal Gear Survive was a disappointment, but it seems Konami might make a comeback with a Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake for E3. You read it right. Metal Gear Solid 3 is coming to E3.
Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake Coming to E3 2023?
It was in the newest episode of the VGC Podcast that Andy Robinson revealed some information that a little canary sang to him. Konami has some big plans for E3, and it’s sure to blow your socks off. The Castlevania series is reportedly making a big return to E3 2023, but that’s not all as Andy stated that Konami will finally show off a Metal Gear Solid 3 remaster.
“There’s a new Castlevania in addition to the Dead Cells DLC they announced at The Game Awards,”
And there’s this much-discussed Metal Gear Solid 3, which I also expect them to finally show.
Just make sure to take any reports like these with a grain of salt, but one thing to note here is that Robinson has a steady track record when it comes to all things Konami. It was earlier that Robinson shared some interesting details about the Silent Hill Franchise.
For years, we stared at the MGS3 Pachinko Machine Youtube Videos on the internet and hoped for a Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake, and it’s finally set to make a debut.
Will Konami manage to nail the Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake and go beyond the legendary status of the hard-hitting classic without the direction and aid of Hideo Kojima? If Konami drops the ball on this. We call it quits on the Metal Gear Franchise.
