“This fundraiser is being created with Mickey’s full permission to help cover immediate housing-related expenses and prevent that from happening. Mickey Rourke is an icon – but his trajectory, as painful as it is, is also a deeply human one.”
Per Radar Online, Mickey’s home is a three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home in Beverly Grove, which sits in the middle of Los Angeles’ history. Rourke began renting the home in March at $5,200 per month. However, he faced a rent hike to $7,000 starting in his second month. Court documents reveal that on December 18, he was served a three-day notice demanding payment or eviction.
