Microsoft Making New TMNT Controller That Smells Like Pizza

Microsoft has always come up with a lot of custom controllers for different games and movies, whether it be Starfield or Barbie, Xbox gamers have gotten some interesting options. But now the company has transcended the realm of creativity and is bordering on outright weirdness. The latest Xbox controller from Microsoft is themed after the TMNT, and not only does it have the same colors, but it actually smells like a pizza too.

The new pizza-scented Xbox controller was created as a marketing tool for the upcoming TMNT movie called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. The custom controller itself will not be scented, but it will have a diffuser attached to the back which looks like a slice of pizza. And if that’s not all, there will be four different scents available, so you can take your pick.

Before you rush out to buy one, know that these controllers will not be available for normal retail purchase. Instead, they will only be obtainable through a giveaway. So, if you want to sniff some pizza while playing your Xbox, you’ll just have to get lucky.
