For anime lovers of suspense and horror, Mieruko stood out a few years ago as a young student living her everyday life but with a spooky twist. Having to face ghastly specters must be one of the most terrifying things anyone can experience, especially at such a young age. Mieruko is a girl who sees ghosts and serves as the protagonist in the anime Kaya-chan wa Kowakunai. Expect a lot of ghosts, entities, and a girl powerful enough to face Sukuna in this adaptation.

If you’ve always been curious about what Mieruko might have looked like as a child or how she dealt with her abilities at a young age, the new Kaya-chan wa Kowakunai anime is the answer. Kaya is a little girl who is the most troublesome student in kindergarten and always gets into trouble with everybody. Kaya’s bad attitude continues until a new teacher takes charge of her, and she realizes that the young student has supernatural abilities. Just a 4-year-old girl, being the best sorcerer and exorcist in the world, basically like Saitama but against spirits instead of monsters.

Unfortunately, the announcement is only about the manga adaptation, but the arrival date of the Kaya-chan wa Kowakunai anime is uncertain. We must wait for another official announcement to know more about the anime. So, if you are interested in this story, the manga has four compilation volumes where there are several fights between Kaya and the spirits that threaten her loved ones. Discover this tender but creepy story of how a little girl becomes an expert exorcist before anyone else and enjoys a good horror manga. We look excitedly forward to seeing how the jumpscares and Kaya’s powers in the manga will appear on the screen.
