Fortunately, the Spring 2025 anime season also brings with it great titles that promise a lot, but these are some of the ones you should keep an eye out for.
5. To Be Hero X
Imagine a kind of Battle Royale combined with My Hero Academia; this will happen in the new Chinese-Japanese anime from Bilibiliy Aniplex of multi-style animation. In this anime, there are several superheroes, but their power depends on their fandom, as well as the level of trust, and the more trust they take care of, the stronger the hero is. However, occasionally, there is a combat event where the heroes must face each other to reorder their ranking and confidence points. So, if you are looking for a lot of action and fights, this hero clash could have some surprises.
4. Moonrise
For Ci-Fy lovers, this story will be out of orbit because it takes place in the middle of a war between the Earth and the Moon. In this universe, a super-powerful AI is in charge of organizing the government and decision-making on Earth without any problem until it proposes to rule the Moon. Yet, the Earthlings will not have things easy for this task because they will have to face the rebel army of the Moon. In this story, you will have spaceships, a lunar colony, blaster shots, and technological suits with incredible abilities to use in battle.
3. The Beginning After the End
This is the adaptation of a Korean-American web novel, which many fans are looking forward to. Although it is another reincarnation story where a powerful character comes back as a baby, with all his wisdom, he also carries all his past regrets. So, the protagonist will try to fix all his past mistakes as King Grey in his new life until he realizes he is not the only one who reincarnates with his memories.
2. Lazarus
The new adaptation of MAPPA, a studio with incredible animation and fantastic visual effects, and the story is up to par. In the not-too-distant future, a doctor discovers a drug to eradicate all illnesses and diseases, but this doctor disappears for three years while the cure is distributed globally. When the doctor mysteriously reappears, he does it only to say that all those who used his medicine only have three more years to live. So, a group of specialists will have just a little time to find the doctor and get the cure before humanity disappears.
1. My Hero Academia: Vigilantes
We already know that in the My Hero Academia universe, almost everyone has superpowers, but only a few are heroes. Heroes are those who study to be heroes and get their permission, but there are also the Vigilantes. Vigilantes are people who use their powers to help others but without permission to do so. This is a spin-off and prequel to My Hero Academia and Deku’s adventures, making this adaptation one of the anime you can’t miss this spring 2025 season.
