Mila Kunis will be joining Michael Keaton in the comedy Goodrich, Deadline has reported. The Family Guy star will play Grace, her co-star’s pregnant daughter, who supports him during his time of need.
The film is set in L.A. during the holidays. Michael Keaton will play Andy Goodrich, a successful art dealer and father of twin nine-year-old boys and a grown daughter, which will see Mila Kunis play a significant part in. The protagonist faces a divorce from his second and quite younger wife as she enters a 90-day rehab program. He goes into full dad mode for the twins, leading him to lean on his daughter, Grace, for support. He had never been quite the father to her, and the film will see an evolution of their relationship during this difficult time.
Hallie Meyers-Shyer (Home Again) will write and direct. Jason Cloth, Dave Caplan, Daniela Taplin Lundberg, and Kevin Mann will produce. Mila Kunis and Michael Keaton will executive produce Goodrich with Amy Pascal.
Mila Kunis joining Michael Keaton in comedy Goodrich
The announcement comes during a busy time for the Black Swan star. She reprised her That ’70s Show role with co-star and husband Ashton Kutcher in That ’90s Show. While continuing her long stand in Family Guy, she will star in Jackpot, an action comedy with Bryan Cranston. Jennifer Garner is currently in talks to join the two.
Mila Kunis will be tagging along with Michael Keaton in Goodrich, and he is even busier than her. The Oscar nominee is coming off the hit Hulu limited series Dopesick. Later this year, he will reprise his role as Batman in The Flash. He is currently set to make another nostalgic trip with Beetlejuice 2, which will see him return to his classic role. He will also direct and star in the thriller Knox Goes Away.
