Miley Cyrus is on top of her game when it comes to her career. The former Disney star recently took home her first Grammy Award and rocked the house during a performance at the event. She also seems happily in love with her boyfriend, Maxx Morando. However, there is one part of Cyrus’ life that might not be perfectly in place. The singer is allegedly engaged in a family feud against her father, singer Billy Ray Cyrus, as well as two of her siblings.
Us Weekly reports that Miley clearly thanked her mother, Trish, and her sister, Brandi, after winning her Grammy. However, she snubbed her father, Billy Ray, and many of her other brothers and sisters. Sources tell the outlet that the family is in shambles as they’ve taken the sides of their parents, which has led to drama and heartbreak. However, through it all, Billy Ray allegedly tried to reach out to Miley several times following her appearance at the awards show. However, she’s been ignoring his attempts to offer an olive branch.
Miley Cyrus Refusing To Take Her Father’s Phone Calls
“He’s tried reaching out to Miley many times and congratulated her on her Grammys,” an insider dished. “The kids have chosen sides, but friends are hoping the rift doesn’t last forever. Miley and Billy Ray are on the outs,” the source continued. “Miley’s very close with her mom and is standing by her.”
The report suggests that the family hasn’t been the same since Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus’s divorce. The kids, including Miley Cyrus, chose sides and are now at odds. Miley, Brandi, and Trace have allegedly sided with their mother, who recently married Prison Break star Dominic Purcell. Meanwhile, Noah Cyrus and her brother Braison didn’t attend the nuptials. Instead, they’re reportedly on Billy Ray’s side, and support his marriage with Firerose, whom he married in October.
Sadly, the Cyrus family seems to be at each other’s throats. Despite Billy Ray and Tish’s divorce, fans are hoping that the brood can find a way to mend fences. If not for their parents’ sake, then for their sibling relationships.
