Miley Cyrus shocked fans with her latest public sighting, one seeing her pared down and with boyfriend Maxx Morando. The “Flowers” singer, 31, was photographed at the Future Islands concert in L.A. this week, showing an off-duty look as she stunned with barely any makeup on.
Making a rare appearance with Maxx, Miley swathed her lithe frame in a strappy top and baggy sweater look with dark pants, but something was irking fans. While many commented on musician Maxx’s wild long hair, some felt that both Maxx and his girlfriend looked “homeless,” with the comments manifesting on Just Jared‘s Instagram and The Daily Mail. Miley has been involved with 24-year old Maxx since 2021. The relationship has been her longest-lasting since her 2019-ended and short-lived marriage to actor Liam Hemsworth.

Photographed making her way along a gritty walkway, Miley smiled, showing off her high cheekbones and stunning features as she kept her outfit low-key.
Wearing an off-the-shoulder sweater in black, the Grammy winner went loose-fitting, showing only hints of her toned shoulders as she flashed a strappy black top beneath.
Adding in dark pants and boots, plus a black purse, Miley wore her darker-than-usual locks down, but with a clip keeping her hair away from her face. Meanwhile, Maxx donned a blue logo sweater and white jeans, making a statement with his long messy bed hair.
Those ‘Homeless’ Comments
Gaining over 600 likes was a fan asking: “Is he a homeless?” A fan quickly replied: “He looks like it.”
Meanwhile, over 100 fans agreed when a separate user said: “They both look homeless.” This comment angered some fans, though, with one responding: “Don’t disrespect my queen like that please, she’s beautiful.” Throwing in a laughing emoji into their response, another that they “look like two homeless” people, here using a slur against LGBTQ people.
Further remarks about Maxx’s appearance came in, with one fan saying that they’d assumed Miley’s beau was “a homeless man” before seeing the caption.
Miley and Maxx first headed out together in 2021 at the Gucci “Love Parade” event in L.A. One month later, they were spotted getting cozy at the pop singer’s Miami-held Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party. Earlier this year, a source dishing to People revealed that the couple is living together, stating:
“She is very happy with him. loves Maxx. He’s a great guy. He’s private and doesn’t like being in the press. It’s been good for her.”
The outing came as Miley gets hit by a copyright infringement lawsuit for her 2023-released “Flowers” track.
