TLC’s New Dating Show Is Unparalleled
When TLC announced its new dating show and name, it surprised many people. MILF Manor premiered with eight single moms who are looking for love in places different from what they’ve been used to.
Eight women gathered in Mexico, where they are to meet and try to date younger men successfully. However, the women had a surprise waiting for them.
The women were stunned when their potential partners turned out to be their sons. The men also joined the competition as eligible bachelors to pursue a possible romance with the older women.
Shannan and her son Ryan are two of the contestants, and the duo was shocked to find out TLC’s plan. ET caught up with the twosome as they discussed their reactions to the big reveal.
MILF Manor’s Shannan and Ryan Were Surprised By The Show’s Plot Twist
The mother and son pair disclosed that they knew they would be on the same show. However, they had other ideas about the theme, with the pair thinking they would help each other find love.
“That was all a surprise,” Shannan said. “We knew that we were going on a dating show together. I was under the impression that my son would kind of scout out opportunities for me and I would scout out opportunities for him.”
The MILF Manor stars also gave their reasons for coming to the show. Shannan explained that the show allowed her to tread new paths in her love life. The mother of three divorced her husband of 18 years and wanted to try something new.
The 51-year-old added that she decided to step out of the box and find happiness without prejudice.
On the other hand, Ryan came to the show to live life to the fullest.
“I just went into this thing with a mindset of you really have to live life, not just merely exist,” he said.
He also revealed that he once dated an older woman, and the result was interesting.
MILF Manor has quite a unique and interesting theme. Hopefully, the contestants find love with the right people.
