Minnesota MAGA Neighbor Hides His Beaten-Up Trump Sign: ‘The Symbolism…’

Oh, the irony

To no one’s surprise, the current administration hasn’t exactly met the expectations of many of its voters, causing many to wonder whether they made the right choice. One such Trump supporter in Minnesota presumably proudly displayed his 2020 Trump campaign sign on his front lawn for years, even until the former President recently came back into power. It appears he was a bit thrifty, as he simply put duct tape over Pence’s name. Now, the worn, beaten-up sign sits tucked away in a planter pot.

“My neighbor holding steadfast to his convictions has aged like milk…The symbolism…” says a man living near the Trump supporter’s home. Posting a photo of the neglected campaign sign to r/agedlikemilk, the Redditor’s comment section has multiple commenters agreeing that faith in the MAGA slogan is fading. “My neighbor mysteriously took his signs down that he has had out for well over a year. Wonder why?” sarcastically questions one user. “I have recently seen a couple of signs on my route to work come down too,” chimed in another.

“I’m in a pretty red rural town, and this is one of the few left standing,” the Minnesota resident remarks in a reply. “There’s another homemade sign on the other end of town next to a pile of garbage. They all tell a story they didn’t intend.” Of course, there are still plenty of Republicans who hold fast to their vote and desire to rid the US of immigrants. However, it seems some MAGA citizens are starting to ‘wake up’ to the condition of the country. If anything, the administration has further divided the nation with hostility and negativity, not to mention all the outrageous executive orders or ongoing controversy regarding the Epstein files.

As one commenter put it, the Trump campaign sign with the old 2020 slogan is a “fairly original title for a compost pile.” And the fact that the owner didn’t bother putting it out in the front for all to see or buy a new Trump-supporting sign might be a good side of how they feel about their vote now.
