Miranda Lambert‘s style made double-whammy headlines in 2021 as the country singer slipped her curves into two show-stopping outfits for that year’s Grammy Awards. Repping all things silver as she flaunted her curves on the red carpet, Miranda wowed in a cut-out, slit gown, then switched to leggy mode as she got flirty in a tassel minidress.
Despite stunning the cameras, the “Bluebird” hitmaker wound up with negative reviews, with viewers on The Daily Mail slamming her style and suggesting that she cover up. More than one user deemed the singer-songwriter’s fashion to be “unflattering,” although some were pleased to see their favorite artist enjoying her night with 2019-married husband Brendan McLoughlin.
Miranda Lambert’s Style Turns Heads At Grammy Awards
Going structured in a metallic silver gown with a chest cut-out, Miranda wowed in her floor-length, thigh-slit number, one covered in floral-like prints in black. All smiles as she flashed her shapely legs and hourglass waistline, the 40-year-old put on a curvy show up top, although she stayed classy while rocking heels and holding a green clutch purse.
Sporting blow-dried locks, plenty of bronzed makeup, and a white manicure, Miranda looked flawless for her big night, one also bringing a leggy look after a quick outfit change.
Going jazzy in tassels, Miranda turned heads all over again in her silver minidress, this time showing far more leg. Despite two great outfits, the singer wound up getting the thumbs-down.
Told Her Looks ‘Unflattering’
While the leading comment told the star to “cover up please,” another popular reply read: “That short dress is terribly unflattering. It has design, fit and weirdness problems w it.“
Body-shaming Miranda, a fan gained over 70 likes for saying: “She’s too heavy for both of those dresses. Not a good look.” Miranda has made headlines in recent years for reportedly gaining 25 pounds, but the reports came in the context of her being happy and settled in herself.
Also slamming the Idyllwind founder’s style was a fan stating: “Both outfits are unflattering.” Meanwhile, a separate user said: “Maybe the short dress looked better in person, but in pictures it definitely accentuated her love handles.”
The 2021 Grammys were also attended by stars including Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, and Megan Thee Stallion. Miranda’s looks continue to prove popular on her Instagram, a feed that also includes promo for her Western-infused Idyllwind clothing brand.
The singer has even branched into homeware. In 2022, she joined forces with retail giant Walmart to bring fans her Wanda June homeware range.
