Miranda Lambert is bouncing back after getting body-shamed on social media. The country singer is fresh from defending herself after trolling remarks about her shape on Instagram, and she did it in style ahead of the weekend. Showing off her curvy figure in a Western-inspired outfit, Miranda flaunted her shapely silhouette in a leggy denim mini skirt and cowboy boots, shouting out her beloved cowgirl style while earning over 13,000 likes.
Miranda, 40, made headlines in March after haters alleged that her closet’s contents only show her “unattractive” side, and it looks like she’s won. Users seeing this post only sent the “Bluebird” singer love, with many noting that her post was dedicated to a record label. Miranda is followed by over 4 million on IG.
Miranda Lambert Shows Instagram Her Western Cowgirl Look
Sticking to her beloved denim, Miranda flashed her legs in a fitted skirt rising just above the knee.
Teaming her skirt with a darker, button-down shirt in a different shade of denim, the Grammy winner flashed a massive smile, posing with two ladies while showing off her outfit. Adding turquoise accents from a vintage-style necklace, Miranda also accentuated her waist thanks to a statement belt, completing her ensemble with cowboy boots. Here, the blonde added pops of white, plus fun blue embellishments that coordinated with her skirt.
Going full bombshell, Miranda wore her signature blonde locks down, opting for a fun, waved finish. “My first time seeing @BigLoudTexas House. Designed by my @JunkGypsy creative soul sisters Amie & Jolie Sikes,” she wrote, also marking her location as Dallas, TX.
Getting Nasty Comments About Her Weight
The post only brought loving remarks, but elsewhere, Miranda has faced a wave of body-shaming remarks, and it wouldn’t be the first time.
Per The Daily Mail, a fashion post earlier this year had one fan saying: “Yikes, leggings-type pants are not attractive on people with a little extra here and there. They don’t do you any favors.” Another user told her that it was a pity she was showing her less-attractive parts.
Miranda did not stay silent. Firing back, the ex to Blake Shelton wrote: “Good to know! I’ll do better about displaying my ‘unattractive parts.”‘ A user then replied in the comments, fat-shaming Lambert and saying that she’d gained “a few pounds.”
Miranda joins the long list of celebrities who have fallen victim to body-shaming, not limited to singers Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, plus Hollywood actress Florence Pugh.
Miranda remains popular as she models her Idyllwind clothing brand on Instagram. The Western-style brand channels the star’s Texas roots, as does her 2024-released Postcards From Texas album.
