Enjoying a luxurious yacht outing with Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz, Selena kept high-profile company as she soaked up rays South of the Border, with the paparazzi hot on her heels.
Photographed climbing aboard after a dip as she rocked a two-piece, the 31-year-old flaunted the curvier figure that she’s made headlines for addressing โ while Selena was body-shamed by initial users seeing the photos, she’s since used one of them to compare her swimsuit-clad self now to how she looked ten years ago. The Daily Mail published the snaps in March of last year, calling Selena’s body “toned.” Fans didn’t just disagree. They were sarcastic about it, too.

Keeping stylish in a block-color bathing suit in black and white, Selena championed the strapless trend as she was photographed hoisting herself out of the water and onto a luxurious yacht.
Showcasing her healthy curves as she went makeup-free, the Rare beauty founder appeared to spot the cameras in some shots, with one famously seeing her shoot the paparazzi a sassy gaze. Wearing hoop earrings, Selena rocked soaking wet hair as she enjoyed the Mexico heat โ the images were plastered all over the internet as fans got their fix of the “Love On” hitmaker.
Fans Challenge ‘Toned’ Description
The Daily Mail called Selena “toned,” and it looks like users pounced on the description.
“Incredibly toned frame, err I donโt think so,” the lead comment reads. Over 1,000 fans liked it. Another user said that they didn’t “see a toned frame,” going on to state that Selena had gained weight and was trying to “cover it up.”
The star’s autoimmune condition, Lupus, was also mentioned by one user saying: “Selena does not look very healthy here. Her best friend gave her the greatest gift of all, her kidney. She was genuinely concerned about her drinking and wanted her to remain healthy, and she was dumped for more well-known celebrities.”
Selena has since confirmed that the medication she takes to manage her condition can make her weight fluctuate. The body-positive star told her fans on TikTok that she can hold ” a lot of water weight.”
The leading comment wasn’t agreed on by everyone, though. Defending the singer, one user replied: “She still looks great. Nice, normal figure.”
