You never know what you might encounter on the road, but few expect to see someone clinging to a moving vehicle. Before you think this is an elaborate work of AI, someone in Kansas City, Missouri, caught a woman on video clinging to a vehicle. To make matters even more shocking, the vehicle was traveling on the highway at 60 mph, leaving many drivers — and now baffled Redditors — wondering what could have led to this situation.

For the non-believers, user LAFoodieBen shared the video of the aforementioned woman from Missouri clinging to a car hood as it went at 60 mph down 435 East. While brief, the clip caused a lot of shock, as no one would expect to see an actual human on a car hood, and on top of that, while the vehicle is driving at high speeds on a highway, which could definitely lead to a terrible accident for those in and on the vehicle.

Sadly, there isn’t a lot of information as to what led to the situation, other than it happened on the 435 Interstate in Kansas City. OP also mentioned that they filmed this near Wornall and how the woman remained on the car hood until they disappeared around the 71 highway exit. Still, with these little details, the video shocked several Redditors.

Redditors React to Clingy Woman

For starters, several Reddit users pointed out the fact that this had some true “Kansas City vibes,” as it doesn’t seem like a far-fetched situation to face in the city.

“Some real ‘Kansas City. Do Whatever’ energy.“

“Standard Tuesday morning commute.“

Others tried to throw in a few speculations regarding why the woman was on top of the car hood to begin with.

“I’m guessing it’s some sort of breakup situation where she refused to get out of the way so the driver could leave, and the driver refused to wait anymore.”

“I think I saw this same person and car at the local Walmart in mid-Missouri a few days ago doing this. Must be a new TikTok trend.“

Regardless of what led to this particular event, it seems like a dangerous thing to do.

At the time of writing, no information is available about the woman or whether the incident led to an accident. Hopefully, this was a one-time occurrence and doesn’t become a dangerous trend, as some Redditors have suggested.
