For quite some time, a Missouri woman has been dealing with a “crazy neighbor.” But now this neighbor took things to a whole new level. Upon going out in her yard, she realized not only was her fence missing, but her yard was also destroyed. Now, this Missouri neighbor said the only thing she can do is involve police.
Britny (@britny.rose2) was at work when her neighbor started altering things in Britny’s yard. This isn’t the first time that Britny has dealt with these neighbors, as she has previously posted interactions she had with them where they engaged in hate speech and crossed the barrier into Britny’s yard. In Britny’s most recent video, she shows what her neighbors did when she was at work and unable to stop them.
According to Britny, the neighbors called somebody to come “rip my fence out.” When Britny saw it was taken down, she immediately put it back up, as she’s permitted to do in her own yard. She goes on to say she’s “beautifully decorated the yard” and “obeyed all the code rules.” Britny shows that her flowers and flags are a foot away from her neighbor’s yard, right where they’re supposed to be.
But when Britny came home, she saw that her “neighbor decided to remake another line” showing her where her property line is. They decided to dig a giant, muddy line right into her property. She shows the damage, stating, “They dug a whole foot over the property line all the way down to the [expletive] road. Just fully destroyed the property. Full on property damage.”
Britny decided she’s done with the mistreatment from her neighbors. She jumped into action to set things right. She states, “The cops were here and I have officially pressed charges for harassment and destruction of property.”
Commenters immediately reacted to Britny’s video, with many urging her to take action and to not let this go. One commenter shared, “Oh, she’s crazy crazy! I’m so sorry you’re going through this.” Others agreed that, on top of making the police report, she should “go to the county code enforcement.” One commenter even suggested, “Get a property line assessment, then put up a fence.” To this, Britny stated that they already did that but the “city won’t allow fences higher than 3 feet.”
Others shared that Britny needs to protect herself, as she’s allegedly part of the LGBTQ+ community and her neighbors have used hate speech on her in the past. As one commenter urged, “Stay safe. You never know just how crazy people are.” Commenters continue to share their reactions and suggestions on Britny’s video as it gains popularity.
