When you buy anything from a large place such as Walmart, you would expect it to be safe for you and your family. Despite this, people might come across unpleasant surprises. This was the case with a Missouri woman who was left stunned because of what she found inside a bag of cheese puffs that she bought from Walmart. She shared a video explaining how they bought Great Value Cheese Puffs through Walmart delivery. Nothing looked wrong with them from the outside, but it was a different thing when they opened them. The woman said that she opened the bag and gave her daughter a few of them and that was when her other daughter noticed something strange inside the bag. The video then showed what they found exactly and it basically looked like a snake.
The Missouri woman then said that they opened another bag they had from the same product and found a flake in it. The main problem here was the thing that looked like a snake which made her believe that this was definitely one. Of course, they couldn’t just ignore this. In another video, she said that they filed a complaint with Walmart and also contacted the local health department to file a report. Thankfully, Walmart later took the product off the shelf so they are probably investigating this. It is a good thing that they did that because someone from the same town also found a similar thing in a bag they had of the same cheese puffs.
The family posted another video of the snake-like thing. In it, the mother washed one part of it while wearing a glove. She said that she was convinced that it wasn’t a cheese puff. Honestly, it didn’t look like one. A third video showed her husband cutting a piece of it, and they said that it smelled terribly too. It also wasn’t easy to cut it as it took some time. Now, I really want to know if it is a snake or not.
People Reacting to the Missouri Woman’s Discovery
The video posted by the Missouri woman gained a lot of reactions and one of them was blaming Trump. “Trump took away our food protection. That’s just the beginning,” one woman wrote. Another woman then replied, “Trump administration revoked 52 food safety standards in July.” Of course, this started a huge debate on whether the current administration was at fault or not. Another debate that was going on was whether it was a snake or not. Those who believed that it was a snake encouraged the woman to file a lawsuit, but she refused. “As long as my daughter who ate some puffs from the bag doesn’t end up with any issues, there isn’t a need for a lawsuit. We don’t need any compensation. It’s just wild! And definitely needs looked into,” she wrote. Many would have loved this lawsuit opportunity.
The debate under the Missouri woman’s video continued as one person said, “I DO NOT believe that to be burnt, uncut cheese puffs. That thing once had a heartbeat.” Another person also wrote, “as someone with experience handling snakes… yeah. That looks like a snake. For the love of all things holy is there a customer service number on that bag???” Others tried to find a more reasonable and less disgusting explanation. “Looks like it’s a long string of puff that got stuck in the machine and burnt up. It’s definitely not a snake lol,” someone wrote. One TikTok user had the same opinion as they said, “it is not a snake. It’s backed up cheese puff mixture burnt in the machine and not formed correctly.” This does sound more likely.
