It’s a love story?

A woman in Missouri and her bestie took to social media to share a video of a little experiment that they did while attending a Kansas City Chiefs game over the weekend. The two women, who both look to be in their 20s, took a page straight out of Travis Kelce’s book. One of the women wanted to find her own Taylor Swift when she decided to shoot her shot at a good-looking guy sitting a few rows in front of her.

In the TikTok video, the woman with dark brown hair happened to notice a cute guy sitting in front of her, so she decided to write him a note. She scribbled a little letter on a piece of paper and even gave him her phone number. Then, she asked people in front of her to pass the note forward until it reached its intended target.

The man eventually received the note, and the two started texting. In the caption of the video, the Missouri woman reveals that she was inspired by Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. In 2023, Kelce publicly declared that he wanted to date singer Taylor Swift. Now, the pair is engaged.

The woman shared screenshots of their text messages, putting his contact name as “Chiefs Boy” in her phone. They texted throughout the game, and because there was an empty seat next to her, he eventually came up and sat with her and her friend. They hit it off, and he even made a joke about telling their kids about their meet-cute in the future.

The duo made plans to go to dinner, officially declaring it their first date. Of course, TikTok couldn’t get enough of the story and is now begging for updates about the date and whether or not there will be more.

“Well guess I need to go to arrowhead to find my husband,” one person commented. “We love a confident girly,” said another. “At least something good happened at this chiefs game,” joked one social media user. “I’m way too invested in a total strangers love life now,” a fourth comment read.

It remains to be seen if this Missouri love story will actually go somewhere, and if the pair can give Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s romance a run for its money. However, the internet is definitely rooting for the young duo and is hopeful that their love for the Chiefs is just the beginning of their connection.
