Though the Modern Warfare 3 public beta launch date isn’t yet revealed, Sony confirms that it will be available on PlayStation a bit earlier. That comes from an official trailer on Sony’s YouTube channel, and it promises that the game will be available at least five days earlier than other platforms. This news comes just days after Modern Warfare 3 was announced. Since the franchise is reviving its Modern Warfare games with improved online features, it started a revolution for Call of Duty. We’re about to dive into the revolution’s new stage with Modern Warfare 3, and its public beta will come with a favor for PlayStation players.
Modern Warfare 3’s Beta Coming to PlayStation First
The game is expected to launch on November 10, and the public beta weekend is expected sometime in October. According to recent information from Sony, the game will have an early and exclusive beta weekend. That will allow PlayStation users to enjoy the game before the beta weekend, and they will be played two weekends in total. Keep in mind that a pre-order is mandatory to access the early beta. Activision also plans to gift some in-game skins to the pre-orderer holders, but the new early access will probably be the best advantage of pre-ordering the game.
Beta weekends typically allow for a select number of maps, modes, and weapons to be played but keep the majority of content under wraps. Details on what will be featured in this beta have yet to be released.

It’s also worth mentioning that Call of Duty will allow you to transfer some items between Modern Warfare 2 and 3. Some players pay hundreds of dollars for cosmetics, but leaving them in the previous title was a block against the new launch to get popular among the fanbase. We can estimate that you won’t be able to transfer your entire inventory, but at least some of the worthy ones could come with you.
Modern Warfare 3 was announced with a teaser trailer. It only revealed the game’s name and logo, so we still know nothing about the series’ next installment. Another video revealed that Makarov returns to the game, and that’s the only information we know about the plot as of yet.
