Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 3 begins today. The new season introduces new updates to both Modern Warfare and Warzone. Season Three welcomes back of a popular face from 2019’s Modern Warfare, Alex.
To play as Alex, all players will need to do is acquire the Season Three Battle Pass. Or, once the Battle Pass Bundle is purchased. (20 tier skips included for Battle Pass Bundle).
It’s a question of where to start for Season Three. Quads have become available within Warzone and Plunder. The new game mode allows you to assemble a group of up to four players. So, with that in mind, teamwork is vital to surviving.
An expanded fire team within Plunder will help you gather Cash faster, and in turn, help players complete contracts, as well as take out enemy teams. Better still, players won’t need the full version of Modern Warfare for Warzone, simply download Quads and get stuck in.
Season Three offers new modes and playlists. They’ll change the loot pool to particular weapon types, as well as high action modes including Scopes and Scatter Guns’ (sniper rifles & shotguns only), and more.
Ground loot is also set for a continuous overhaul with the third season, which helps diversify strategies a player can take within the world of Warzone. Every weapon will come with its own silenced or non-silenced option.
Squads can prepare themselves for silent operations, or go in loud and fast.
Supply Boxes offer weapons and blueprints, plus Ground Loot to Verdansk. Meta updates are coming too. There are also new 6v6 maps, there’s the Talsik Backlot, Hovec Sawmill, and Aniyah Incursion, (a twist on Aniyah Palace). Further additional content includes new multiplayer playlists, Demolition, Gun Game Reloaded, plus Gunfight variants and more.
The Barracks offer new missions, along with XP Rewards, Blueprints, and vehicle and operators skins. Elsewhere, there are two free new weapons up for grabs at Tiers 15 and 31, the Renetti handgun and SKS marksman rifle.
Weapon blueprints such as the ‘Cerastes’ handgun, ‘Beefeater’ assault rifle, and a sniper called the ‘Witching Hour’ can be acquired. The Renetti and SKS are customizable for players.
Season Three also offers a new finishing move from familiar pup Riley at Tier 20, more XP to be gained from Season Three trials and new operators.
Of course, sometimes, words aren’t enough to persuade. Check out the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone Season Three Trailer below, and make your own verdict.
