After the fantastic trailer featuring Dave Bautista, NetherRealm Studios raised the bar once more with the launch trailer for Mortal Kombat 1. In it, we can see the new Invasion Mode coming to the game and a bit of Shang Tsung’s gameplay, a character who is available through pre-order. Besides that, we got to see a bigger look at the game’s story and how it’ll shape some of the new alliances in the game.

While many were surprised after seeing Shang Tsung’s gameplay in the launch trailer of Mortal Kombat 1, others loved the new Invasion Mode coming to the game. This game mode will allow players to experience a board game-like mechanic with minigames and the good old Mortal Kombat gameplay.  This mode will let you equip your characters with loot and face hordes of enemies as you traverse some of the game’s maps. Also, the studio has promised to update this feature constantly to bring new experiences for players.
