A movie about one-handed NFL star, Shaquem Griffin, is coming to a screen near you. It was confirmed this week by his twin brother, Shaquill Griffin, to TMZ that the movie is in the works.
Although he didn’t divulge further details about the imminent project, it’s sure the movie will be amazing. The Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback revealed that he didn’t have a problem playing a character of himself in the film.
He quipped that he’s got real-deal acting chops, but he’ll let it come as a surprise. However, his one-handed retired brother is the main character of the film.
A movie about Shaquem Griffin will be interesting because it’s amazing how he rose to that level in his NFL career despite his predicament. He became a mega football star who played for the Seahawks and Dolphins before retiring this year.

The Movie About Shaquem Griffin is Based on His True Story
The one-handed inspirational NFL player had his left hand amputated when he was a kid. He was born with his twin bro to Terry and Tangie Griffin, with amniotic band syndrome, which led to the amputation.
The syndrome affected the fingers on his left hand, causing him so much pain. At age 4, he picked a knife in an attempt to cut off the hand.
His mother intervened and was forced to schedule the amputation. After this challenging period, Shaquem Griffin went on to play sports without his hand, and a movie will be made about how inspirational it is.
The Florida-born retired athlete attended and played high school football at Lakewood before attending the Under Armour Combine in 2011. He helped Lakewood reach the 2012 Florida 5A regional semifinals.
Shaquem Griffin’s forthcoming movie will highlight all of his wins even before his professional career, which peaked in 2018. In the same year, he participated in the NFL Scouting Combine.
The ESPN-rated star made headlines for performing 20 reps in the bench press while wearing a prosthesis and running the 40-yard dash in 4.38 seconds. It’s the fastest time for a linebacker since the NFL has released official statistics.
The athlete was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the fifth round, reuniting him with his brother. Griffin signed a four-year deal worth $2.8 million with $300,000 guaranteed.
