If one thing is true, it’s that online personality Ms. Rachel is teaching all of us something – not just children. She has consistently advocated for children in Gaza, as many continue to lose their lives in the Gaza War between Palestine and Israel. Ms. Rachel, who is known for her entertaining educational videos for children on YouTube, has not stayed silent regarding Gaza children and what they’re facing. For months, she has been publicly speaking out against the violence and suffering that these children face every day. Now, she took a unique stand at a New York award ceremony. If getting her message out was the end goal, she did it in the most heartwarming way.

Ms. Rachel (also known as Rachel Accurso) was featured in a video posted by @entertainmenttonight at New York’s Women of the Year Awards hosted by Glamour. In a heartwarming and moving way, she entered the red carpet wearing a beautiful dress constructed with artwork made by Gaza children. The dress itself was a beautiful black number. But what really knocked it out of the ballpark is the top, which was entirely embroidered with children’s artwork. This helped tell their stories living in Gaza. It was the most amazing way for somebody to shed some light on these children’s stories and what they live with. Some of the artwork featured a peaceful dove, a child hugging a piece of watermelon, and a girl on roller skates with angel wings sprouting from her back.

Ms. Rachel will always be advocating for kids, which is why she is being honored at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards. “We have to take better care of kids around the world who are in unimaginable situations,” she told ET, wearing a dress that featured artwork from children in Gaza. #msrachel #glamourwomenoftheyear

When Ms. Rachel was interviewed about her dress, she happily explained the meaning behind her dress. She said, “I’m carrying their stories with me tonight and I’m so proud to show their beautiful art.” She wore the dress as a way to show that she’s “thinking of them” no matter where she goes. The interviewer stated, “You find a way to reach children in a way that no one else can.” If you’re somebody whose children watches Ms. Rachel, you know exactly what this interviewer means. Ms. Rachel was clearly humbled by these kind words and so honored by the response over her gorgeous dress. She told the interviewer, “We have to take better care of kids around the world.”

Her commitment to making a difference, especially with her support for kids in Gaza, speaks volumes about her compassion. She is more than deserving of this recognition.” This woman is truly the sweetest and does deserve all the love as she spreads her words of humanity.
