Many players have been anxious to play MultiVersus to understand the game better as the launch draws near. It’s always entertaining to listen to the speech lines of the in-game characters as they interact, whether you’re playing sporadically with friends or grinding till the very last minute. There are many different voice lines in the game right now, some of which contain adult phrases. However, the majority are quite simple. Read on to discover how to use Multiversus’ mature language filter to spice up your game’s audio.
The Mature Language Filter in MultiVersus
You may still engage with other players, as MultiVersus does not support text chat. Instead, you may hear mature speech lines from in-game characters by turning on MultiVersus’ Mature Language filter. Although this isn’t as common right now, when more characters are added to the MultiVersus cast in the future, more possibly profane language will surface.
Navigate to the Audio/Language area of your game options and enable the Mature Language filter. Spot a box marked Mature Language by scrolling down. Check this option to enable Mature Language and hear every voice line the characters have to give. No offensive language will be heard if you keep this turned off. Additionally, you’ll get a little message advising you to “consult your parents before turning on” when you activate or disable Mature Language.

MultiVersus: Is There Crossplay?
Characters can curse as much as they like now. Although, most characters in the game won’t. Because cursing does not match their personality, you will probably only hear a small number of characters alter their dialogue lines. Expect some noticeable alterations there, though, as someone like Harley Quinn is widely renowned for her colorful language.
MultiVersus is available as early access open beta for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox systems. The open beta opens for everyone on July 26, and the game has a full release sometime this year.
