Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 fans can look forward to the next Double XP weekend, as confirmed by Raven Software. The event will take place across consoles and PC from Friday, March 17, to Monday, March 20. Additionally, PlayStation players will have 24 hours of Double XP starting Thursday, March 16.
When Will Start MW2 and Warzone 2 Double XP Weekend?
During the event, players can expect to earn Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass XP. Double XP increases the rate at which players earn XP towards their account level, while Double Weapon XP boosts the rate at which they earn XP towards their weapons. Meanwhile, Double Battle Pass XP doubles the rate at which players level their Battle Pass.
The previously scheduled Double XP weekend, set to start on March 9 for PlayStation and March 10 for all platforms, was listed by mistake. However, players will immediately have the next Double XP event, which will start shortly after the release of Season 2 Reloaded.

Infinity Ward and Raven Software usually space out 2XP events by around four weeks. However, they can also arrive when they want to celebrate a particular event, such as the launch of a new season or mid-season. Players who don’t want to wait for Double XP events can obtain 2XP Tokens in various ways in Warzone 2 and MW2.
MW2 & Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded is the latest major update to the popular first-person shooter games. The update introduces a range of new content, including weapons, multiplayer maps, game modes, and quality-of-life improvements.
The mid-season update for MW2 & Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded is expected to launch on March 15, 2023, and will last approximately eight weeks. Of course, there’s always a chance that the Season 2 Reloaded update will be somewhat delayed, just like at the start of Season 2.
