The Conversion Kits were advertised as one of the selling points of Call of Duty in 2023 and its Multiplayer mode, which has brought some game-changing elements to both the MW3 and Warzone during the past year. Some kits are just useless, some mid, and a few others are as broken as Soap’s skull. The JAK Voltstorm conversion kit is the last of its kind to unlock, but it’s categorized on the “please nerf” type of attachments in MW3 and Warzone Season 6.
How To Unlock JAK Voltstrom in MW3 and Warzone
Warzone and MW3 Season 6 have only four weekly challenges, and the JAK Volstorm is the ultimate prize for the final week, unlockable by completing only five of the 21 objectives on the list. These objectives are scattered across MW3 Multiplayer, Warzone, and MWZ, but for this week, the Battle Royale Call of Duty is the best option to go for.
Jumping into Warzone Plunder and looting the different areas of the map is how you easily unlock the MW3 JAK Voltstorm conversion kit. Of course, you can grind your way in Multiplayer and MW3 Zombies, but the Plunder is the fastest way with the easiest challenges to deal with.
JAK Voltstorm Needs A Warzone Nerf
Judging by the current state of Warzone, the game is trying its best to keep everyone happy with the meta. SMGs are good, some rifles are strong and top-tier, and sniper rifles do one-shot headshots up to a certain range, which is a blessing. In Warzone 2.0, “sniping” wasn’t “a good job mate.” However, the recent shotgun meta is encouraging campers to take advantage of the situation, where you can spot a bunch of people sitting in the corners of a house around a Cluster Mine on a regular basis.
No offence, camping is a playstyle, and that is fine. But to give one playstyle a super advantage over the other is just unfair. I mean, the camping player needs to struggle a bit to get that sweet kill, right? Bam, you’re dead; that’s it with the JAK Voltstorm conversion kit in Warzone and MW3 up to nearly seven meters of range without needing ammo and reloading.
This weapon can even beat the Akimbo Reclaimer 18 on its range, and that’s okay if it was only in MW3. The state of one-shotting the opponent in Warzone isn’t quite nice for a shotgun. Snipers have to steady their aim and go for the head, and most of the time they miss, unless you’re a pro player. But for shotguns, it’s a free kill.
Regardless, the days of MW3 are about to sunset with Black Ops 6 releasing in less than two weeks. The Black Ops 6 beta did include a better loadout system with fewer attachments and more effectiveness. And for the gameplay, the longer TTK time was good to experience. The best is to hope to see the same system coming to Warzone.
