My Home Hero: The Season’s New Psychological Thriller
Since its release, the manga has won several manga awards in Japan for its story. My Home Hero follows the story of an ordinary man name Naoya. Currently, the story is described as follows;
After killing his daughter’s abusive yazuka boyfriend to save her, ordinary salaryman Tetsuo Tosu becomes embroiled in the dark criminal underworld. The wish for a simple life he and his wife Kasen had for their daughter has now been reduced to a wish for survival. Though middle-aged and weak, he’ll put his life on the line using only his wits in order to protect his family.
Now resolved to ‘commit the perfect crime’ and hide the body, Tetsuo has to dodge both other members of the yakuza and the higher-ups constantly breathing down his shoulder.
The My Home Hero anime dub is set to premiere on Crunchyroll’s streaming service on April 16th, 2023. The series will be available in both sub and dubbed versions.
