The Tokyo Revengers anime has announced that the anime will be adapting the Tenjiku arc for season 3. The “Return to Tenjiku” arc, which has yet to be published in English, is part of the manga. The announcement also revealed two new cast members that will be joining the show. These include Daisuke Namikawa as Yamato Kuroba and Kaito Ishikawa as Ryohei Higuchi.
The Tenjiku arc is a continuation of the manga’s story after the events of the Bloody Halloween arc. The aforementioned arc was adapted in the anime’s first season. The arc follows the protagonist Takemichi as he travels back in time once again to try to save his friends from the Tenjiku gang.
Daisuke Namikawa, known for his roles in numerous anime, is a veteran voice actor. These roles include Ulquiorra Cifer in Bleach, Hisoka Morow in Hunter x Hunter, and Waver Velvet in Fate/Zero. An experienced voice actor known for his roles in My Hero Academia, Haikyu!!, and Darling in the Franxx is Kaito Ishikawa.
