One of My Time at Sandrock’s core mechanics is gathering scrap and recycling it to gain building materials. While some scraps, such as Wood and Stone, are available from the tutorial, others require progression through the main story and tool upgrades. For example, you need a bronze axe to destroy Fine Wood junk piles. Similarly, you won’t encounter Iron Scrap until later in the story.
