I love watching a good road rage video. There’s something so exhilarating about witnessing someone being an idiot in the middle of a roadway because someone did something he didn’t like. One driver in Lincoln, Nebraska, managed to capture one of the most odd cases of road rage I’d ever seen. In fact, I’d say it was excellently rehearsed, considering how fast the perpetrator knew the drill the moment he laid eyes on the officer approaching him!
The video shows a car cruising along a main road in Nebraska. In front of the vehicle, other cars are visible, and one person can be seen screaming at one of the drivers. It’s unclear exactly what was being argued about, but it was definitely a classic case of road rage. Shortly after the camera started rolling, it turned to face a police cruiser nearby that was watching the events go down.
Eventually, other cars in the area began to flee because of how heated the road rager got. This caused the officer who was monitoring to get out of her vehicle and begin her approach. I guess this wasn’t his first rodeo because the moment he saw the officer, he got down on the ground and put his hands behind his back. Again, the entire situation seemed so rehearsed! One commenter said, “He knew the routine. 😂“
What stands out is the length of time it took for the officer to react. Throughout the video, the man displaying road rage tries to get into the other car, even pounding on the windows to get the driver’s attention. It’s frightening to think about what could have happened if he had been armed! Fortunately, the situation ended without anyone getting injured, and the truck driver, with whom the man was arguing, could escape safely.
