Playing Dungeons and Dragons with your friends should be considered fun and enjoyable. In fact, the games should take place in a space where everyone feels safe and comfortable. Unfortunately, a video posted to Reddit depicts a players deciding that he no longer liked the rules that the table had established together. I guess there are neckbeard Karens in the gaming space.
The video starts with an altercation between the Dungeon Master and a player on a live show. It seems that before the start of the video, the group had decided that one player would be the leader to allow for quick and unanimous decisions. This makes sense, considering they’re, you know, live. Unfortunately, he didn’t like that he couldn’t make a decision that everyone at the table was against.
Instead of acting like a normal person, he decided to stand up instead to leave the game. However, instead of leaving with any dignity, he attacks the Dungeon Master from behind. The attack wasn’t very aggressive, but it was definitely enough to cause tension in the room.
The replies quickly filled with comments about how the man reacted to the entire situation. Many agree that what he did was not acceptable.
“That guy’s a little b****. I hope he got kicked out and banned from playing with them.”
Considering that he tried to back out of a confrontation right after starting it, I agree with everyone in the comments. Other commentators compared his actions to those of people who rage while playing Monopoly and shared their experiences.

Parkplace Trevor was going all out to get Boardwalk with negotiations while I was convincing Boardwalk Dean to not sell no matter what is offered, because in a couple of turns he’ll be built up and when we land on them will be over, Boardwalk Dean came to his senses and refused to sell.
Parkplace Trevor went absolutely nuts, this is when I found out quiet Trever from school had a horrible temper and flipped the board raging. I kicked Trevor out.”
Like many of the comments, I also hope that neckbeard Karen wasn’t invited back to the next game night. It’s a good thing that in Dungeons and Dragons, you can easily kill off a character.
