The first season of Tiger King saw unbelievable weirdness and mayhem. Guns, betrayal, and tigers were just a few key elements in the intoxicating season. In addition, the vindictive saga between Joe Exotic and fellow Big Cat rescuer, Carole Baskin. From a tiger ripping someone’s arm off to Joe Exotic’s multiple partners, fans couldn’t turn away from the exciting Netflix hit.
What to Expect in Season 2
The trailer for Tiger King 2 is already experiencing a tremendous amount of publicity. The first season concluded with Joe Exotic being sent to prison for the crime of hiring someone to kill his zoo rival, Carole Baskin. As such, Carole has continued to build the foundation of Big Cat Rescue in Florida. By the looks of the trailer, Tiger King 2 will include the efforts for Joe Exotic’s release from prison by dedicated fans. The new season will also focus on the truth surrounding Don Lewis, Baskin’s first husband, and his disappearance. With this in mind, Baskin was apparently “outraged” that fingers were pointed at her.
Lastly, arch-enemies including Jeff Lowe and Tim Stark also return in the show’s second season. The trailer includes several phone calls made from Exotic in prison. In a short snippet from the trailer, Exotic insists: “If I have to make a deal with the Devil, I will make a deal with the Devil.” Additionally, Tiger King 2 promises to deliver “newfound revelations” as far as the controversial zoo owners are concerned. Lastly, as the second installment in the series vows to air dirty laundry, perhaps fans will receive more answers to their questions.
Will Tiger King 2 be able to top the insanity of Tiger King? That remains to be seen. Netflix’s Tiger King 2 premieres on November 17.
