This week, Marvel’s new comics officially kick off Infinity Watch. This Annual event of 2024 follows Thanos on his next crusade. Once again, the Mad Titan is on the hunt for the Infinity Stones in Thanos Annual #1. Creators Derek Landy, Salvador Larroca, and Sara Pichelli give Thanos quite the shock when he finds them. He discovers they are now incorporated into living people like Star, Quantum, Overtime, Prince of Power, and Multitude. Plus, there is a mysterious sixth stone-turned-living entity out there waiting to be found.
Elsewhere in the Marvel Universe, the Blood Hunt event rages on. Jed MacKay and Pepe Larraz’s Blood Hunt #4 find Doctor Strange and Clea courting a dread ally. However, what price will they pay for such aid? Meanwhile, Hunter’s Moon and Tigra are on a similar mission, but can they trust this shadowy figure? Then, the Avengers finally get the chance to avenge their fallen friends. More new comics this week pickup with the Midnight Mission on their way to save New York from vampires in Vengeance of the Moon Knight #6.
Even more Blood Hunt action kicks off in the debut of Ashley Allen and Jesus Hervas’ X-Men: Blood Hunt – Magik #1. Illyana Rasputina is back in Russia to defend it against an army of the undead. Is she up to the task, or did the recent Fall of Krakoa shake the mutant too much? The action keeps going in Midnight Sons: Blood Hunt #2 from Bryan Edward Hill and German Peralta. It is all-out chaos as two Ghost Riders, a Daywalker, and a horde of vampires converge.

Other new comics this week include the Black Panther of the Ultimate Universe fighting to take back Wakanda. Bryan Edward Hill and Carlos Nieto’s Ultimate Black Panther #5 brings T’Challa, Killmonger, and Storm to Wakanda to reclaim the throne. However, the Vodu-Khan have something waiting for their arrival. Something so mysterious that it may force T’Challa to rethink this whole prophecy thing.
