Toei Animation announced that fans will have many more adventures with Goku and Vegeta in a new Dragon Ball anime. The announcement was made during the New York Comic Con 2023 Dragon Ball panel. The same information revealed that Akira Toriyama is very involved in making this new franchise installment. It was also revealed that the name of the anime would be Dragon Ball Daima, along with other details such as the possible release date and the story’s plot.
Dragon Ball Daima Anime Could Arrive in Fall 2024
This new anime could follow a story like Dragon Ball GT from 1997. In this one, Goku was rejuvenated, but with the help of his granddaughter Pan and Trunks, they had to find the dragon balls to reverse the spell. In Dragon Ball Daima, many of the anime’s main characters will return to action, but not as expected.
It seems that Goku, Vegeta, and even Bulma will be back but younger than ever. It will be interesting to see how the main characters interact with each other as children. It will be interesting to see the dynamic between Goku and Vegeta, who met as adults. The panel also revealed that the Dragon Ball Daima anime could arrive next fall season in 2024.

For now, this is all the information about this new series. It is not known precisely why the characters are coming back younger or if it will be a kind of spin-off where they are kids for the sake of it.
An example of this would be cartoons like Baby Looney Tunes or, more recently, Total DramaRama. Fortunately, Dragon Ball Daima anime will arrive much sooner than we thought because it was recently announced in October 2023.
