People often say that kids are ruthless, but the truth is that parents and other adults are way worse, especially now that everyone has access to the internet. If you’ve been out of the loop, not long ago, a proud father recorded her 8th grade daughter performing at her school’s talent show routine in New Jersey. While the show was fun, some people on the internet thought it’d be a good idea to harshly criticize the 8th grader, but, as you can imagine, the father didn’t like it and quickly followed up with a heartfelt speech to support his daughter.
The father shared a video of her daughter’s routine at the talent show in New Jersey, in which you can see her performing with several circus rings. While she executed the routine flawlessly, some people thought it would be a good idea to throw in some criticism, saying things like, “She needs to work on her opener.” Naturally, the father, who uploaded the video, didn’t like some of these comments, but instead of going on an aggressive rant, he decided to upload a new video with a heartfelt speech.
In the second video, which we’ve attached above, you can hear the father talk about how much effort his daughter put into the routine. He notes that people only saw the show, but didn’t see her frustration or the nights when she wanted to quit, or how nervous she was before the show started. While some users also criticized the video, the majority praised the father for being so supportive and for uploading it right after the talent show’s clip was criticized by many.
