A parent at a New Jersey park had a threatening confrontation with a Karen that involved her children. When the angry woman marched into the park over a yard dispute, parents stepped in to protect and stand up for their children.
Barbara (@_barbarajas) said that an angry Karen charged a mom at a park because she had an issue with the children playing there. According to the angry woman, a group of children “threw branches and sticks at her property.” She marched threateningly toward one of the parents, who immediately whipped out her phone to record the confrontation. Barbara caught the entire interaction on camera as well.
As the Karen is angrily charging toward the mother with her dog’s leash in her hand, Barbara calls out, “I swear, if you touch her…” The angry woman immediately accuses the mother of putting her hands on her but they claim that never happened. She starts laughing about this. When they tell her that they already called the cops, she marches off with her dog’s leash gripped firmly in her hand.
But the mom doesn’t stop recording, and this really angers the Karen. She turns back around and starts chasing after the mom again, getting up close and personal in her face. The entire time this is happening, she’s whipping her dog’s leash around. The dog is lifted off the ground multiple times, swinging around on its leash because of the erratic Karen’s actions. Barbara says on camera, “She’s choking the dog! You’re choking your dog, ma’am!” She tries to tell her that the police are already there and that she shouldn’t leave the park. The woman continues walking out of the park, attempting to flee the scene after the confrontation.
Barbara didn’t offer an update on the confrontation, but commenters shared their opinions on how it was handled. Many people felt badly for the dog. As one commenter mentioned, “That poor pup!! Someone needs to drag her around just like she did to that furbaby.” Another commenter stated, “That dog is in danger.”
